SECRETWEAPONS at ForeverNew’s Spring Collection Launch
SECRETWEAPONS joined a star studded line up of over 400 fashion, blogging and industry VIP’s including Australia’s Next Top Model winner Sophie Van Decker, Cloud Street actress Lara Robinson, Cops and Underbelly actress Natasha Leigh Cunningham, Home and Away’s Samara Weaving and Dj Grant Smillie, for the launch of Forever New’s stunning Spring collection “The Age of Innocence”.
The gorgeously choreographed show, staged at the beautiful Regent Plaza Ballroom here in the fashion capital of Melbourne was opened by emerging singing talent, 14 year old McKenzie Comer and included performances by aerial artists suspended above the runway.
The two collections launched by Forever New, ‘Shanghai Rose’ and ‘Age of Innocence’ saw floaty maxi dresses making a pre-summer comeback, delicately jeweled evening dresses and in a Forever New first, the cutest preview of their swimwear collection with bikinis, one pieces and summer cover-alls stealing the show.
In what can only be described as a romantically whimsical collection, Forever New proved that their collections are capable of taking you from summer weddings to balmy cocktail parties, to the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival with dreamy frocks in flowing silks, tulle, chiffon and lace in a blushing palette of soft pinks, creamy whites and the softest lavenders and blues.
Star of the show, Dutch Supermodel, Milou Sluis who opened and closed the runway extravaganza, stole the show in a breathtaking bridal inspired couture gown of ruffled white made exclusively for the launch.
With much of the spring collection strapless and made of the most delicate fabrics, it was no surprise that Forever New called on SECRETWEAPONS to provide the barely there fashion accessory essentials required to make their dresses the stars of the show. NudiBras and StickIt from SECRETWEAPONS are clearly going to be wardrobe essentials this Spring/Summer and are available at Forever New stores across Australia.
